The circle depicted on this noren represents eternity—an unbroken line with neither beginning nor end. Each time one passes through this opening, it quietly offers a prayer for en-musubi—the bonding of people, hearts, and destinies. En (縁) is a uniquely Japanese concept that blends chance and fate, denoting the invisible threads that connect individuals and encounters.
